CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, and particularly, to the electors of Cherokee Metropolitan District
(the “District”) of El Paso County, Colorado.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a mail ballot election will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025,
between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M. At that time three (3) directors will be elected to serve 4-
year terms and two (2) directors will be elected to serve 2-year terms. The Designated Election Official
(“DEO”) of the District is Wayne Williams, 3472 Research Parkway, Ste. 104-200, Colorado Springs CO
80920, (719) 439-1870, waynewilliamslaw@comcast.net.

Eligible Eligible electors of the Cherokee Metropolitan District interested in serving on the board of directors may obtain a Self-Nomination and Acceptance Form from the DEO at  https://www.cherokeemetro.org/may-2025-regular-directors-election-self-nomination-form and are also available at the District office located at 6250 Palmer Park Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO 80915. The District office is open Monday through Friday (with the exception of holidays) from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

The deadline to submit Self-Nomination and Acceptance forms to the Designated Election
Official at the District office is no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 28th, 2025. Affidavit of Intent To
Be A Write-In-Candidate forms must be submitted to the District office by 5:00 p.m., Monday, March 3,
2025.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that applications for absentee voters’ ballots are available in the
District office at 6250 Palmer Park Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO 80915, 719-597-5080. An
application for an absentee voter’s ballot shall be filed with the Designated Election Official at the
District office no later than 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
